Desde el año 1985 que lleva diseñando, confeccionando y vendiendo su propios diseños y colecciones a personas y artistas de todo el mundo sus prendas de estilo Ambient.
Entre sus clientes han estado los estilistas encargados de imagen de Depeche Mode o Eric Clapton, estrellas de Hollywod que han ido en persona como Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson y 50 cent, que fue con su séquito gangsta, y que le pagó en dólares sus compras, o el propio Pedro Almodovar estuvo allí de compras.
En mi caso supe de él a través de Xavier Martin Artero (Xavi metro) uno de los Dj históricos en los años 80 en Barcelona que alababa sus diseños. Celestino vivió intensamente los años 80, saliendo por Madrid, Ibiza y por supuesto Barcelona, vistiendo con sus diseños a varias generaciones ya. Sobre Madrid me decía que durante los años de la movida había muchisimos barceloneses trabajando en la noche de la capital en esa época y que reinaba muy buen ambiente. Llegó a tener 15 tiendas propias en su punto de mayor auge y muchos distribuidores. Por ultimo me comentaba que habían sido vistas copias de sus diseños en Nueva York a precios estratosféricos.
Al referirle que los Djs hoy suelen vestir de negro, que no todos, y según algunos por tal de evitar las marcas del sudor, por una parte se lamentaba de la falta de imaginación y uniformidad en la que ha caído la gran mayoría de la gente, a parte apuntaba que hay tejidos que no se marcan y secan el sudor.
Las prendas las confecciona en Cataluña y con tejidos de calidad, son prendas que no se echan a perder a los pocos lavados, como les ocurre a las de marcas comerciales, con patronaje, lo cual hace que realcen la planta, hoy día pocas prendas hechas en serie sientan bien. Por último son atemporales ya que son muy muy originales y prácticamente ponibles toda una vida.
